Our Upcycled Soap Saver Bags make staying clean and reducing waste easy! These mesh soap bags are perfect for holding onto whole bar soap and getting the most out of leftover soap bits, and ours are made of scrap jute & mesh fabrics, with conventional baby terry cloth. The bags come in two variations and offer 3 levels of exfoliation. The Organic Cotton Mesh offers mild exfoliation on both sets of bags, while the Organic Cotton Baby Terry Cloth offers a delicate non-exfoliative surface, perfect for those with sensitive skin, and the Jute patch offers a moderate exfoliating surface. Measures 4 in. x 5 in.
Jute (aka burlap) is a rain-fed crop that does not require irrigation, chemical fertilizer, or pesticides, and therefore is very eco-friendly and highly sustainable. Organic Cotton material is certified for both ECOLOGY and SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY for the entire production process, including growing, harvesting, spinning yarn, weaving/knitting fabric, and sewing bags. Since they're made of organic cotton and natural jute, they bring additional benefits to our health and environment by avoiding highly toxic pesticides, fertilizers, and bleaches used in regular cotton crops. ALLERGEN WARNING
The Jute / Moderate Exfoliating Bags contain a patch of Jute, which is a grass fiber. As these are intended to come into direct contact with your skin, please be cautious if you have a severe grass allergy.
USE TIPS
As Jute is a natural grass fiber, it will break down over time when in contact with water. After wearing down, the jute patch can be removed for an entirely mesh bag, just cut the jute close outside of the seams, avoiding cutting the mesh underneath. Otherwise, the entire bag can be composted and replaced with a new Jute Soap Saver Bag.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hang the soap saver bags up to fully dry after each use. If in an extra humid climate, remove the soap to allow the bags to dry fully. Replace every 6 months (Jute) or regularly sanitize in the washing machine or dishwasher (Baby Terry Cloth).
