This Tricolor Cotton & Jute Shoulder Bag has all the benefits of a roomy, heavy duty grocery bag, with the look & style of a fashionable tote. These bags are designed with a cream-colored organic canvas up top, a sand-colored cotton & jute blend in the middle, and a golden-tan jute panel on the bottom. The large internal pocket measures 8.5” x 9”, with a zippered closure for securely holding phones, wallets, and more, and is fully lined with an organic cotton fabric. The long padded handles allow them to be carried comfortably by either hand or shoulder.
Jute is a rain-fed crop that does not require irrigation, chemical fertilizer, or pesticides, and therefore is very eco-friendly and highly sustainable. Organic cotton has no chemical fertilizers or pesticides, and has an irrigation requirement. Jute and organic cotton fibers are also completely biodegradable, making for a very environmentally friendly product.
Since they're made of unprocessed cotton and native jute, they bring additional benefits to our health and environment by avoiding highly toxic pesticides, fertilizers, bleaches, and dyes used in regular cotton or jute crops. CARE INSTRUCTIONS
As jute is a grass fiber and the totes are made of a jute and cotton blend, they are not machine washable. Spot clean with a wet soapy cloth, then flat or line dry. DO NOT WASH, BLEACH, OR IRON.
